Besides choosing a faction, which will determine the type of cards you can use, players must choose a hero, which will give access to certain spell cards.
The battle system has certain similarities with the one from Magic: The Gathering. Each player's hero has 20 life points and, when they get to zero, you lose. Nevertheless, as the battle goes by, each hero will be able to invoke a creature during his turn and place it on the board.
The board (or battlefield) has 16 different positions where you can place your cards. And you need to choose well because depending on where you place your pieces, you can take more or less advantage of them.
Might and Magic: Duel of Champions is an online card game that will let you play both on the Internet against other human players and against the computer. In total, there are more than 250 cards, so there is more than enough variety.
